Nagoya City is the prefectural capital of Aichi Prefecture, a designated city. It is also called Chukyo because it is located between Kyoto and Tokyo. It is the central city of Nagoya area after Tokyo area and Kansai area, and the population is the fourth in Japan after Tokyo ward, Yokohama City and Osaka City.
