Micronesia (Western Pacific) island country. It is located west of the Philippines, at approximately the same longitude as Japan. The local language name is Belau. It consists of more than 200 volcanic islands and coral islands, including Babeldaob Island, where the capital of Marquique is located, Koror island with high population, Peleliu island and Angaur island.
